Home  2008/9  Dates and Prices - Ambleside Cottages- In an effort to reduce paper we are trialing the use of emails to send receipts and replies to visitors who have email addresses and have come to the cottages before. NEW visitors will still receive brochures and maps as before.

Availability. Please scroll down the page to find the date you require and it will state whether any of the cottages, Sheepgates, Sunnybank, Cobbleholes  is available. However please note that this information is only correct up to the last update.

Full week lets. These start at 3.00pm on Saturday and finish at 11am the following Saturday. At Christmas and New Year the start dates vary (see column 1). Dates highlighted indicate bank holidays, main school holidays & half terms.

Short winter lets are available from Beginning of November - Beginning of March (excluding Christmas, New Year, Easter, Bank holiday & half term weeks) For prices see foot of this page.

If weeks are partly booked you will see a series of Xs or As. (X= booked for that night A= available for that night – see the day codes at the top of the column). It may, therefore, be possible to book up to six nights stay – please call us to discuss your requirements.

Where PENDING or PPPP is shown, this means that we are waiting for confirmation of a provisional booking for that week / those days; or a decision by our family members; or the owners of Sunnybank Cottage. Please check back later to see if they have become free.

What’s included? Please remember that our prices INCLUDE electricity and coal/logs but bed linen & towels are NOT INCLUDED. These can be provided for overseas visitors only at an additional cost (£5 per person per week).

Travel cot and/or highchair. These can be provided at a cost of £5 per week each. Please request these at the time of booking as they are subject to availability. Linen for the travel cot is NOT included, but it does have a mattress.
